This Cookie Policy explains how MSM Research and Insights Inc., operating the WDL Research website brand, uses cookies and similar website technologies on wdlresearch.com. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
2. Technologies currently used
The current public website code does not set non-essential application cookies and does not activate Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insight Tag or advertising pixels. Standard web infrastructure may still process technical information such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested URL for delivery, security and troubleshooting.
- Locally hosted images, video, fonts and map data do not require third-party advertising requests.
- The Contact and Request a Quote forms send information only when the user chooses to submit them.
3. Essential administrator session
The non-public /admin area uses an essential signed session cookie named wdl_admin_session after an authorized administrator signs in. It is HttpOnly, SameSite Strict, configured Secure in production and expires after a maximum of eight hours. It is not used for advertising or public visitor profiling.
4. Analytics and advertising technologies
Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insight Tag and advertising pixels are not active on the public website. Any non-essential technology is subject to the notice, choice, consent and opt-out requirements that apply to its use.
5. Browser controls
Browsers generally allow users to block or delete cookies. Blocking an essential administrator cookie would prevent authorized use of the internal admin area but does not affect ordinary public browsing. Browser settings vary by provider and device.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when website technologies or legal requirements change. The Last updated date identifies the current public version.
